Park and Trails

The park is a wonderful community resource, a natural habitat for otters, badgers and heron. It’s an essential part of the David Livingstone Birthplace experience. The remains of Blantyre Works Village add an evocative reminder of Livingstone’s formative early years.

The parkland and grounds are open 7 days a week for visitors to come and enjoy (and are free to visit).
