Date: 10:30-14:00 11 April 2022

BioBlitz events encourage a love of our local environment, highlighting biodiversity and the ways we can help conserve these special natural areas. We have 11 acres of grounds, including a wild meadow and a woodland. That makes us the perfect place to explore!

BioBlitz events encourage a love of our local environment, highlighting biodiversity and the ways we can help conserve these special natural areas.

We have 11 acres of grounds, including a wild meadow and a woodland. That makes us the perfect place to explore!

Join us this April and together we’ll investigate the wildlife surrounding the museum: catching bugs and butterflies, spotting birds and small creatures, and recording plant life.

Meet us from 10:30 by the play park to begin your adventure.

This session is FREE to attend and is open to all ages. No need to book, just turn up on the day!

Please also see our other Events information.

We are very grateful to our key funders the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Historic Environment Scotland and the Scottish Government for their support in helping us deliver the Birthplace Project.
