Family Fun Day!

Bring your team down and get active! Join in with

  • Egg and spoon races
  • Three legged races
  • Sack races
  • Tug of War
  • Volley Ball
  • Rounders
  • Table tennis
  • Lawn games

There’ll be FREE refreshments and packed lunches for the children taking part (with help from ASDA!).

Bring your stuffed animals along and join the Teddy Bear’s Picnic, where we’ll be learning nursery rhymes and songs, plus some teddy bear crafts.

There’ll also be face painting and crafts inside.

Take a ‘Garden Walk and Talk’ with our Gardening Volunteers, who’ll chat about what they’ve been up to and what plants can be found at David Livingstone Birthplace. 

Plus, the local emergency services will be onsite with fire engines, bike marking, and more! 

All activities are FREE to take part in. 

Entry to the museum will be FREE for all children, accompanied by a paying adult.

Note: Please note that David Livingstone Birthplace (and the David Livingstone Trust) is no longer part of National Trust Scotland (NTS). NTS members will therefore no longer receive discounted/free entry to the Birthplace Museum.
