David Livingstone Birthplace

Den Building

Date: 13 July 2022 (10:00-12:30)

The Conservation Volunteers are back and this time they’re here to help you build a den!

Find materials all over the DLB grounds to make your very own den and learn all about different animal habitats – from hedgehogs to badgers. Then we will forage for flowers and plants to decorate our dens to make them nice and cosy for any little furry visitors!

Meet us at the events space next to the café, where the team will give you everything you need to make your dens. Remember to wear warm clothing and wellies as it might get muddy.

Tickets for this event are £4 per child and accompanying adults will not have to pay. Book early to avoid disappointment as there are limited places!

Audience: Families

Please also see our other Events information.

We are very grateful to our key funders the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Historic Environment Scotland and the Scottish Government for their support in helping us deliver the Birthplace Project.
