Virtual Museum Visits

The David Livingstone Birthplace Learning Team are offering virtual museum visits for Primary schools in the Lanarkshire area available to book every Thursday and Friday afternoon, from now until the end of term!

The sessions will introduce David Livingstone and explore how our local history is connected to the rest of the world through trade, empire and exploration. Activities included within the 45-minute session are: virtual object handling, original source analysis, historical investigation and lots more!

"Thank you so much for providing Primary 6 with such an informative workshop surrounding David Livingstone and his life. The activities on offer were well planned and suited the abilities and needs of the children in the class. The presentation was very detailed and there were lots of opportunities for the children to share their own experiences and ideas."
