David Livingstone Birthplace hosts its first ever Youth Open Day!

Join us for food and refreshments, a DJ and music, table tennis, and a print-making workshop - inspired by patterns, textures, and colours found in our collection. There’ll also be a short presentation from our Learning & Engagement team, where you can discover more about our exhibition and meet our team!

This is a day to celebrate YOU - our vibrant young adult audience - and open applications for the museum's new Youth Engagement Project. It’s also a chance to connect with peers and your local community organisations.

The application window for the DLB Youth Committee will open from 22nd July 2022 - 22nd August 2022, with the committee due to commence in September 2022.

This is a drop-in event, and no booking is required. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please also see our other Events information.

We are very grateful to our key funders the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Historic Environment Scotland and the Scottish Government for their support in helping us deliver the Birthplace Project.
