David Livingstone Birthplace Was Delighted To Host Virgin Money For A Team Away Day!

On the 11th August, Louise and her colleagues arrived on site. As part of our South Lanarkshire Council grant, we wanted to turn part of our wild meadow into a sensory garden. The Virgin Money group was ready for the challenge, but we only had one day and nine in the team – how much could be achieved?

Our 2022 Summer Programme has been inspired by David Livingstone’s love of nature and storytelling. Our museum now looks after acres of park land and we’re determined to encourage a healthy eco system, full of trees, plants, animals, birds, and insects!

Statement On Glasgow City Council Audit

The recent audit by Glasgow City Council and the subsequent report produced (Glasgow, Slavery and Atlantic Commerce: An Audit of Historic Connections and Modern Legacies) allow for important discussions around historical figures.
